So we can reply. We use it for nothing else.
If it is a correction, a link to the page helps a lot.

Corrections are the most useful thing you can send

Miami moves fast and this site covers a lot of ground. Restaurants close, museums change their Monday hours, a shuttle route gets rerouted, a festival shifts weekend. If you were on the ground and found something here that no longer matches reality, that is genuinely valuable — please send it.

Include the page link and, if you can, where you saw the correct information. We check every correction against the venue or the relevant authority before changing anything, so a source makes it much faster. Verified errors are fixed in the guide itself and the page’s revision date is updated.

Trip questions

Ask, and we will answer if we can. The useful version of that offer: we are good on things like which neighbourhood suits the trip you have described, whether you need a rental car, how to sequence the Everglades and the Keys, or what a given week in Miami will cost. We are not a concierge and cannot compare specific hotel rates for your dates or tell you whether a particular tour operator is any good.

What we cannot help with

This is an independent guide with no commercial or official relationship to anything in Miami. Please do not write to us about:

  • Bookings of any kind. We do not sell, book, resell or hold reservations for hotels, tours, tickets, restaurants or transport, and we cannot alter or cancel a booking you made elsewhere. If you think you booked through us, you did not — contact your card issuer.
  • Official city or county business. Permits, parking citations, beach closures, business licensing and event permitting are handled by the City of Miami, City of Miami Beach or Miami-Dade County. We are not affiliated with any of them, nor with the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau.
  • Lost property, complaints about a venue, or disputes with a business. Take those to the business itself, or to Miami-Dade Consumer Protection.
  • Visas, entry rules and travel insurance claims. Those go to the relevant government or insurer. Anything we say on those topics is general and should never be your only source.
  • Anything urgent or safety-related. This form is not monitored continuously. In an emergency in Miami, call 911.

Listings, links and paid placement

We are asked regularly and the answer does not change: there is no way to pay to be listed on this site, no sponsored posts and no paid placement of any kind. We do get commissions for bookings made through links in our guides, which is set out in full on the affiliate disclosure page, but no business can buy its way into a guide or change how it is described. Guest post pitches and link-exchange offers are deleted unread. If you run a Miami business and believe we have described you inaccurately, that is a correction and we want to hear it — send it through the form above.

Press, reuse and permissions

For permission to quote or republish material from this site, or to ask about the sourcing behind a particular guide, choose the press option in the form and say which page you mean. Short quotations with a link back are fine without asking.

Replies

This is a small operation, so expect a few days rather than a few hours. Corrections get looked at first. Your email address is used to reply to you and for nothing else — see the privacy policy for what happens to what you send.
